Have you always dreamed of tap dancing? The Nicola Dance School in Montreal has many years of experience in this field. It is one of its specialties. Thanks to Al Gilbert, a well-known figure in the dance world for his dedication to teaching this art with heart, passion and generosity, tap dancing is within everyone’s reach and the tradition continues since he honored us by entrusting us with the progressive method he developed. BALLROOM

Ballroom dancing has been the specialty of the Nicola Dance School since its beginnings in Montreal. The technique taught emphasizes the pleasure of dancing and is perfectly adapted to put your talents into practice on all occasions.

JAZZ/HIP-HOP

Come and share the experience we have acquired during training sessions in New York, Hollywood, Chicago and other places where the best professionals share their knowledge.

LINE DANCING

The Nicola Dance School’s line dancing program offers you a wide variety of country or traditional dances (solo or as a couple), which will allow you to have fun at all your evenings, with or without a partner.

Schedules and teaching locations may vary by season. Any seniors’ association, single parent organization or other group looking for a line dance teacher can contact us and obtain the services of a qualified teacher who will travel to teach in the venue of their choice.

OUR TEACHERS

NICK GIORDANO

Over fifty-five years of experience, graduate of the Professional Association of Dance Schools of the Province of Quebec, of “Dance Educator” of New York, of the “All American Dance Congress” and associated with Al Gilbert of Hollywood. Nick offers classes for amateurs, children or adults and also has a professional training program in collaboration with Al Gilbert to help you reach a professional level and obtain your teaching diploma. Nick is the director and founder of the Nicola Dance School.

PATRICIA MORIN

Over forty-five years of experience, the only one in Quebec trained by Al Gilbert, now in charge of the professional training program to prepare you for Al Gilbert’s exams to obtain your professional diploma. Many teachers across Quebec benefit from her experience to improve their technique in tap or ballet jazz or to progress through the different professional levels. Her choreographies are also very popular as many teachers come each year to take classes with Patricia to learn new choreographies and improve the quality of their end-of-season show.

JESSICA BEAUCAIRE

25 years of teaching children in tap, ballet/jazz/hip-hop at the school and having been trained by Patricia and Nick, Jessica is dedicated to her students and creates a joyful and warm environment while allowing each student to progress year after year.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS
